Let’s say you’re 25 or 50 years old, and you are one of the very fortunate people who make it to 90 without the later years being miserable health ridden years. You have 65 or 40 long years of life left to live. Yes, that seems like a long time. It seems that you would have lots of time to be with who you love and do whatever activities you want. But is that true?

I use to go watch local drag races all the time, until they began to move them to different towns. Lets say I went to three race events a year. Much like myself, I am sure all of you would spend countless days every week hanging out with your friends, playing soldiers, riding bikes, playing sports, whatever you are into. Assume between the age of 7-16 you hung out with your friends 4 days a week. In that short time you hung out 1872 times! But now you have grown up friends, have moved to different cities to grow families, started new careers, or are chasing dreams. Now you guys have to work around your work and families schedules to hangout. You get the chance to have a true hangout twice every three years. If you have 65 years left in your life, that is only a tiny 43 more times to cruise around or hangout in your garage with your friends. If you have 40 years left the number is even sadder to think about, only 27 more chances to make cherished memories with your friends.

According to many different studies, the average person only owns 9 cars in their life time. Let’s say you live till you are 90, that’s a car every 10 years. But what if you are already 25? That’s only about 6 cars left to own. Or maybe you are already 50? That’s only 4 cars left to own. However, for car guys, its not just about the car, its about what a car can bring to your life. A car gives you the chance to introduce your passion to the next generation. A car can allow you to create memories with your friends and family. A car gives you the chance to prove to yourself you are capable of learning new things.
